Gifts Under $25

Start with the person, not the price. At this budget the gifts that land are the ones that fix a small daily annoyance or make someone laugh, so here is what we stock, grouped by who it suits.

For a coffee drinker or a desk worker: the Self-Stirring Mug stirs at the press of a button and shows the temperature on its handle, and the Coffee Mug Warmer switches on when a mug is set down and off when it is lifted. For a cramped desk, the KL61 compact mechanical keyboard has 61 keys and RGB lighting, and the folding laptop stand collapses flat to slide into a bag.

For a cold commute: the USB Heated Scarf has three heat levels and a zip pocket for its power bank, which is not included. The rechargeable hand warmer heats on both sides and can top up a phone from its USB port, and the ice scraper mitt keeps a hand warm in a fleece lining while it clears the windshield.

For a pet owner: the flapping bird cat toy flaps and chirps when a cat bats it, the cheese puzzle hides balls for cats to fish out, and the self-rolling cat ball moves on its own. Dogs get the automatic rolling ball with three play modes and the treat-dispensing chew ball, and the Santa reindeer hoodie fits small dogs and cats from about 3 to 12 lb.

For a traveler: the worldwide adapter covers outlets in over 150 countries, and the lipstick selfie stick and the flexible tripod take care of group photos.

For a laugh or a kid's room: the Dancing Cactus sings 120 songs and repeats what you say, the moon lamp cycles through 16 colors from its remote, and the snowman night light dims with a long press and recharges by USB-C. Shopping with a bigger budget? See all our gift ideas.
